Disputes

Handling boundary disputes

If your neighbours don’t give you their consent for your construction work, then it may lead to boundary disputes. David Andrews M.R.I.C.S can help you resolve these issues in line with the current regulations. Contact him if you are in Powys.
Handling boundary disputes
If a dispute arises, then you and your neighbours can appoint a party wall surveyor to resolve the matter. All parties can appoint their own surveyors or use just one surveyor to work on behalf of all the involved parties. All the surveyors will agree on a ‘party wall award’, which will include a mutually beneficial plan for all of them.

Contractual disputes

There are times when all the involved parties agree with the construction work, but want their own amendments. In such cases, if any of the involved parties don’t agree to the proposed amendments, then the matter goes to court. As a surveyor, David Andrews will try to reach an agreement with you and your neighbours so that the issue is resolved amicably.
